With its unique blend of 53% Suri Alpaca / 47% Baby Huacaya Alpaca, the combination of softness from the Suri Alpaca and the structure from the Baby Huacaya Alpaca creates a magnificent yarn. Light, airy, and soft, this single-ply, fingering weight yarn consists of 14 picturesque colors inspired by Minnesota prairies and meadows. When used on its own Prairie creates a sheer, lightweight fabric. When paired with another yarn, it creates a feathery, soft halo. Prairie creates dreamy, finished fabrics and it's excellent for wraps, shawls, cowls, and garments.
