Tunisian Crochet Mug Rug Class - June 28th 2pm -4pm
This Learn to Tunisian Crochet class will unlock the secrets of this
beautiful & versatile crochet technique! Whether you're a
beginner or have some crochet or knitting experience, this class is
perfect for anyone wanting to explore the unique texture &
designs that Tunisian crochet offers --no prior experience
required!
In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamentals of Tunisian
crochet, including the anatomy of stitches & chains, Tunisian
simple stitch, how to bind off, and how to understand Tunisian
crochet patterns. I will guide the class step-by-step,from setting
up your foundation row to finishing your first mug rug. We will
use my free pattern: the Baby Cakes Mug Rug, which can be
downloaded from Ravelry.
Meterials
2-4 skeins of worsted weight yarn, sample made using Malabrigo Rios
(100% Fine SW Merino, 210yds/100g in the colorways Sand Storm, Pearl,
Pearl Ten, & Fog )
5mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 12"+ cord & stopper
Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, blocking supplies, optional st marker
