Winter is long, why don't you make yourself some mittens? This is the class you've been waiting for. You will learn how to make mittens with an afterthought thumb using the magic loop method. This will hone your magic loop skills and teach you how to make mittens without having to make a thumb gusset. This is a great class to take you beyond beginning knitting, teaching you multiple skills that will transfer to projects in the future. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling.

Materials Needed:
- 1 Skein of Woolstok Worsted (50g) -You may need 2 skeins if you are making extra large mittens or of you want multiple colors in your mittens
- US 5 - 40" circular needle
- Stitch Markers
- Darning needle
