Buttonholes by Machine - October 18, 10:30am-12:30pm
We have all been there. Getting to the last step of the project and you have to put buttonholes on your piece. Sometimes you just want to put the project away because you're scared to mess it up, sometimes you start and the last button hole just doesn’t want to work. We are here for you! Our goal for this class is for you to leave with more confidence in being able to approach your next project. You will leave with the confidence to make millions of buttonholes, the skills to fix something if it goes wrong, and the stamina to do all 6ish in a row!
In this class you will learn how to
-
Set up your machine for button hole making
-
Getting a consistent buttonhole each time
-
How to use a machine to sew on a button
-
Cutting open the buttonhole with ease
-
Troubleshooting any problems that arise
-
Fixing mistakes if they happen (even people whom have been doing this a long time have mistakes)
Instructor: Kate Wilson
