Advanced Beginner Sewing: Tote Bag 2 - September 19&26, 10:30am-12:30pm

Take your tote bag to the next level! Learn great ways to modify our basic tote pattern like adding pockets, making a patchwork bag, or using old t-shirts for the outer fabric.  

Class Level: 2 - students should have basic sewing skills & be able to use a sewing machine.

Materials needed:

• 1/2 yard exterior fabric (quilting cotton)
• 1/2 yard interior fabric (quilting cotton)
• 5/8 yard canvas (1/2 yard if not pre-washing)
• 1 1/2 yards webbing (1” to 1 1/4” wide)
• Thread

Optional:

• t-shirt & fusible interfacing
• coordinating fabric scraps
