We've had a lot of folks ask about JoAnn's closing. "Do you think this will help your small Business?" "Will you show up more in searches for My Local Yarn Store, Fabric Shops Near Me, or Minneapolis Craft Stores?" "Will you change what you carry?" And many more questions that would just be silly to type out. 

Will it help our small Business?

I think the answer is yes and no. Yes more people will turn to us for their yarn and fabric needs. But we are a small store and can only carry so much on our shelves. So we focus on curating the yarn, fabric, notions, and more. That means some people will have to shop else where for their buttons, zippers, and fleece. 

Will you show up in more searches?

We certainly hope so. One way to make sure we show up in searches is by having a list of key words on our site. I'll be putting them at the end of this post so that you don't have to read through all that SEO stuff. Another way to make sure we show up is to leave us a Review. 

Will you change what you carry?

This is a trickier question. We don't have plans to add any new yarn companies or fabric types to the shop. But that doesn't mean we might not in the future. But for now we are focusing on the things we know you want and the stuff we know you'll like.

I'm sure more questions will pop up. Feel free to ask us any that come to mind. I may have some more rambling answers for you. ;) - Megan
